LAKE NAKURU / SAMBURU
(Camping and Lodge) 4 DAYS - ATWS 709
DAY 1: Nairobi / Nakuru
You are picked from your hotel at 9:00am and leave for Nakuru with a stop
for panoramic views of the Rift Valey to arrive at the camp/lodge for
lunch. Enjoy an afternoon of game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is famous for flamingoes and lots of other birdlife. Animals
such as Rhino, Leopard, Girraffes can also be seen.. Dinner and overnight
at the camp/ lodge.
DAY 2: Nakuru/ Samburu
Depart for Nanyuki after breakfast via a stop over at the Thompson's falls,
75 m high and pretty spectacular. Have lunch at Nanyuki enjoying the view
of the snow capped Mt Kenya as you proceed to Samburu Game Reserve to
arrive in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
DAY 3: Samburu
Morning and evening spent game viewing at the reserve where unique game
such as Gerenuk, Kudu, Grey Zebra, reticulated giraffe can easily be be
sighted as well as leopard, elephant, oryx and many other animals and
birds. Hot lunch and dinner served at the camp/ lodge.
DAY 4: Samburu/ Nairobi
Enjoy your last game drive after breakfast as you depart for Nairobi with
lunch en-route.
MAASAI MARA / LAKE NAKURU (Camping
/ lodges) - 5 DAYS
DAY 1: Nairobi / Maasai Mara
You are picked up from your hotel at 8:30 am to 9:15 am. Depart for Maasai
Mara with a stop over for panoramic views of the rift valley and for lunch
at Narok. Arrive at the park in the afternoon and proceed for a game drive.
Dinner ant overnight at the camp.
DAY 2: Maasai Mara
Ful day spent exploring this unique park where the big five, elephant,
lion , buffalo, leopard and rhino as wel aas birds such as tha Masai ostrich,
Ibis and others can be sighted with the help of your wekll trained guide.
Lunch is at the Hippo pool. Dinner and overnight at the camp/ lodge.
DAY 3: Maasai Mara
Morning spent game viewing after breakfast at adifferent area of the vast
mara plains. Hot lunch served at the camp/ lodge. Spend the afternoon
at leisur eor visiting the tribal villages/ manyatta. Dinner and overnight
at the camp/ lodge.
DAY 4: Maasai Mara/ Nakuru
Depart from Maasai Mara after breakfast with a game drive en-route as
you depart. Have a picnic or hot lunch en-route with panoramic views of
the rift valley and Lake Elementaita to arrive at Nakuru camp/ lodge in
the early evening for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: Nakuru / Nairobi
Breakfast at 6:30 am. Spend the morning at the Lake Nakuru National park,
also dubbed the bird watcher's paradise, where you can view the flamingoes
in their thousands as well as animals such as rhino, Rothschild, giraffe
and waterbuck. The park is also surrounded with acacia trees, giving it
a very distinctive appeal. Lunch at the camp / lodge. Depart for Nairobi
after lunch to arrive in the afternoon. Drop off at a hotel of your choice.
