SAFARI TO MASAI MARA/ LAKE NAKURU/
LAKES BOGORIA - BARINGO / SAMBURU
DAY 1: NAIROBI/ MASAI MARA.
09.30 hrs: Leave Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Picnic lunch en-route.
Game drive in search of black-manned lions, elephants, leopards, cheetah,
buffaloes and other plains game en-route. Dinner and overnight at the
camp.
DAY 2: MASAI MARA.
06.30 hrs: After breakfast proceed for a full day game drive with picnic
lunch. After lunch a further game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp/
lodge.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA.
Morning spent game viewing. Afternoon optional visit to the Masai village
at an extra cost. All meals and overnight at the camp / lodge.
DAY 4: MASAI MARA/ NAKURU.
After breakfast leave for Nakuru, game drive en-route. Picnic or hot lunch
en-route, arriving in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Nakuru
camp/lodge.
DAY 5: LAKE BARINGO/ BOGORIA.
Depart for Lake Baringo, have a boat trip to view the many birds, which
inhibit this lake. After lunch, proceed to Lake Bogoria to explore on
foot this naturalists lake and hot springs. Return to Nakuru in the evening,
dinner and overnight at camp /lodge.
DAY 6: NAKURU/ SAMBURU.
Pre-breakfast game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast
leave for Samburu with a brief stop over to see the Thompson falls. Lunch
en-route arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge.
DAY 7: SAMBURU.
Morning and late afternoon spent game viewing, animals such as the graceful
Gerenuk, Kudu, Grevy Zebra, reticulated Giraffe as well as the blue shanked
Somali ostrich can be seen. Look out for the Leopards in the trees. Lions
and Elephants can also be easily sighted. All meals are served at the
camp/ Lodge. Retire for the evening at the camp / lodge.
DAY 8: SAMBURU/ NAIROBI.
0.800 hrs: After breakfast, enjoy your last game drive as you depart from
Nairobi to arrive in the late afternoon
